Lessons
Set up a lesson time to learn how to ride and play polocrosse on your pony or mine. Mounts are available for all ages and abilities. One and one half hour lesson times are available after school or work, and Saturday morning lessons are available on non-event weekends. See the calendar. HPCRC (Heartland Polocrosse Pony Club Riding Center) Monthy Activity Fee (please note month in PayPal) including horse —$ 150.00
Includes use of horse and seasonal weekly instruction/meetings at HPC riding center:
• 2 mounted semi-private lessons
• 1-2 unmounted lessons, aka ground school
• Unlimited seasonal mounted activity such as trail ride, specialty clinic, club rally practice, polocrosse or mounted games practice
• Lesson with guest instructor, clinic, or rally entry fee at member rate
• No volunteer fundraising!

HPCRC member horseback riding lesson including horse if not monthly (please note date) — $40.00
Non-member mounted horseback riding lesson trailer in, on your own horse — $35.00
Non-member mounted horseback riding lesson including horse — $55.00
Practices
Confident experienced riders are invited to practice with Heartland Polocrosse Club, most Saturday afternoons, April thru October.
No practices on tournament weekends. See the calendar for exact times.
Consider joining Heartland Polocrosse Club, no fee to practice if you are able to ride confidently in the open on your own horse.
Non-member polocrosse practice trailer in, on your own horse (rider must be able to confidently ride in the open) — $20.00
Non-member polocrosse practice including horse, if available (rider must be able to confidently ride in the open), does not include horseback riding instruction — $30.00
Intro Polocrosse Lesson & Evaluation
Schedule an evaluation and introductory polocrosse lesson on your pony or ours. Suggested for novice riders who want to learn to ride, play polocrosse, and mounted games. Phone or text 703-475-7832.
Camps & Clinics
HPC hosts guest coaches, instructors, and rider players for tournaments, tours, camps, clinics, and extended stays as working instructor/ coach from all over the US and the world. HPC has hosted and horsed over 25 riders, coaches, and supporters from South Africa, United Kingdom, Australia, and Zimbabwe since 2021.
The US/UK Camp, for a second year, was a highlight of the summer! Pony Club United Kingdom (PCUK) Stables at Cissbury visits Heartland Polocrosse Club US Pony Club Riding Center for a traditional Pony Club camp of riding skills, horse management and introduction to a variety of equine disciplines.The Stables at Cissbury invites HPCPCRC members to the PCUK Cissbury Stables Camp.
